TeeHound requests your browser location only when you select My location. Your precise coordinates stay in memory for the current page session and are used to center the map, estimate distance, and sort nearby results.

TeeHound does not store that precise location in its database, send it to analytics, or add it to a shareable URL. Reloading the page clears it from TeeHound. Your browser or device separately controls whether location permission remains allowed.

Browse and search do not require an account. TeeHound offers a lightweight verified-email account only for saved tee-time alerts. It does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party analytics identifiers. Like most websites, its hosting infrastructure processes ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page, and time to deliver and protect the service.

When you open an official booking page, TeeHound records an anonymous handoff event containing only the course, booking provider, TeeHound source surface, and event time. It does not add the request IP address, browser details, precise location, search criteria, party size, or a user identifier to that event. Handoff events are retained for up to 90 days and used only to understand aggregate course and provider interest. Expired events are deleted when new events are recorded and when the internal report runs.

If you create alerts, TeeHound stores your verified email address, selected supported courses, date and time window, party size, sign-in sessions, and the delivery state needed to avoid repeated notifications. A current alert created while an optional maximum price was available may also retain that saved limit until you clear it or delete the alert; expired history retains it only until deletion. Alert identity and criteria are not added to the anonymous booking-click records described above.

TeeHound sends sign-in links and matching alerts through its configured transactional email provider. That provider receives the destination email address and message contents to deliver the email. TeeHound does not use alert email for advertising or silently personalize organic search results.

Single-use sign-in links expire after 20 minutes and sessions expire after 30 days. Delivery and match deduplication state is removed within 90 days after an alert ends. Saved alert criteria and the verified email remain until you delete the alert or alert account. Account deletion removes the verified identity, saved criteria, sessions, and delivery state from TeeHound's active database.

A golfer may ask TeeHound to prioritize live coverage for a reviewed or missing course without creating an account or verifying an email address. TeeHound stores the requested course or entered course name, an optional city, required contact email, optional first and last name, and request status. Repeating the same request with the same email address updates the existing record.

TeeHound may use and share aggregate course-demand counts in partnership discussions, but not golfer names or email addresses. Email john@teehound.com to correct or delete a coverage request.

The map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap and its map data contributors. Those services receive the network requests needed to display the visible map area. TeeHound does not send them a separate saved location profile.

Booking links take you to an independent course or booking provider. Information you submit after leaving TeeHound is handled under that provider's own privacy practices.
